Given on this webpage are videos and webpages, all somehow at least SLIGHTLY related to the ROH gathering on Wednesday 7am Eastern, January 31, 2025.
Antisemitism from the Political Right
There is way too much of this going on right now, seemingly enhanced by the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Here’s an interview from a year or so ago. Candace Owens has recently drastically changed her mind on issues she agreed upon not that long ago. Of course she’s not the only political conservative who has become deeply antisemitic, perhaps since October 7, 2023.

Accountability for Man-Made COVID Illness and Vaccines?
Here is some movement on the possibility of accountability for the damaging COVID vaccine, not to mention COVID itself, which was seemingly largely built by U.S, including people such as Ralph Baric of University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. There were some at Fort Detrick near Frederick, MD who helped out, not to mention Peter Daszak, from the UK. Here’s a Dr. David Martin talk at EU a couple years ago, in case you forgot about it:

Now, several years later, there may be some progress. This, from mid-December 2025:

Advent Music
For more focus on a seasonal topic, one more look at Christmas music. In this case, it’s a Christmas carol composed by French composer Hector Berlioz. He had composed a Cantata (in English, “The Infancy of Christ”) dealing with the escape of the Holy Family from the Jerusalem area to Egypt.
Here’s the entire Cantata, complete with multiple languages:
Hector Berlioz – L’enfance du Christ, Op. 25 (1850-54) (1:34:33)
My focus right now is on a chorale dealing with the Holy Family leaving Bethlehem for Egypt, as they were warned about Herod and his evil jealosy.
The music score:
Shepherds’ Farewell – Berlioz – L’enfance du Christ – Sir Colin Davis 1961 (5:08)
In performance:
English Lyrics:
Cantate Domino – Thou must leave thy holy dwelling – The shepherds’ farewell (Berlioz)
It might be noted that the lyrics in “The Shepherds Fairwell” could probably be replaced by the lyrics to the hymn by Charles Wesley, entitled “Love Divine, all Love Excelling”. Of course, the brief instrumental interlude at the beginning and between verses might be a distraction in a church service, but maybe not in a concert of Christian Choral music. Maybe it could be part of the “Infancy of Christ” concert at South Shore Christian Academy in December 2026.
Music as part of a sermon and altar call
And here is wonderful music and an amazing sermon from Jimmy Swaggart, in Macon, GA, 1983:

Additional Vocal Music Wepages
Given in the following are several webpages, listing groups of singers and instrumentalists, mostly but not all sacred music.
Here is a webpage providing Brahms Requiem in two forms: the first with the choral music charts, but in the original German language. The second form is a presentation in a concert format, where the vocal parts are sung in English, and there are subtitles to help the listener understand the lyrics.
Brahms Requiem – with Choral Score
And here is an analysis of the Beethoven Missa Solemnis (Solemn Mass). While the lyrics are basically the exact Latin words of the Roman Catholic Mass, the musical expression is often unique, and even sometimes emotional, in a way in which other renditions of the Mass are less “informative”. (In my opinion).

If your taste in Christian vocal music is Bluegrass, here’s a collection of songs, many of which from the Bill Gaither orbit:
And finally (for now), here are a collection of Inner city Gospel songs, some of which Geoff Hicks and I worked with at Tremont Temple in Boston, a decade or so ago:

There’s plenty more, of course, but this is enough music for the moment.
